Harold K. Sage graduated from University High School and attended Illinois State Normal University. Mr. Sage maintained an interest in area and Lincoln history throughout his life and published two booklets - "Jesse W. Fell and the Lincoln Autobiography" and "The Beginnings of Normal, Illinois." He donated his library of books and pamphlets related to Abraham Lincoln to ISU in 1979 and also donated funds to establish the Harold K. Sage Investment Fund.
The Sage Fund may be used for the following purposes:
Academic units may apply for Sage Funds by submitting the following application to the Office of the Provost. Applications must be submitted at least 4 months prior to the event. The Provost will determine approval. The unit applying is responsible for making all arrangements for the visit (i.e. working with the Foundation Office on the contract, making travel arrangements, scheduling rooms, marketing).
