Colleges

Campus Technology Support Group

The Campus Technology Support Group is responsible for building a "technology-friendly campus" in support of teaching, research, public service, and outreach activities at Illinois State through the application of state-of-the-art computer and Internet technologies throughout the University and campus residences.

Center for Teaching, Learning, & Technology

Formerly known as CAT: the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, CTLT is a multipurpose, interdisciplinary unit dedicated to the advancement of teaching and student learning. It seeks to provide resources to help enhance the teaching of individual members of the instructional community; to nurture and promote a vital teaching community at Illinois State in which skilled teaching is recognized and valued as creative intellectual work; to coordinate teaching resources that exist in various colleges and departments; and to establish and maintain mutually supportive relationships with other institutions of higher education in Illinois and with the corporate sector.

Enrollment Management and Academic Services

The Office of Enrollment Management and Academic Services assumes a leadership role in monitoring on-campus enrollment by coordinating the establishment of enrollment targets for academic programs and the University; works toward providing students with a seamless transition to Illinois State from admission to graduation; coordinates academic support and transition services for prospective and currently enrolled students; and coordinates various communication efforts for all areas of EMAS as they relate to students, faculty, staff, and university constituents. EMAS functions include:

Extended University

The Extended University at Illinois State University reaches out to Educate Illinois through the coordination and logistical support for Extension, Internet, Contract, and Continuing Education courses, certificates, and programs.

Graduate School

It is the aim of the Graduate School to provide an atmosphere in which competent students may join qualified faculty in extending their fields of knowledge and where they may share experience in study and research leading to professional improvement and scholarly achievement.

International Studies and Programs

The Office of International Studies and Programs (OISP) is the focal point for international activities at Illinois State University. The staff of the Office of International Studies and Programs is committed to fully developing international opportunities for all members of the campus community.

Honors Program

The nationally-recognized Honors Program at Illinois State University provides enriching educational opportunities for academically talented students.

Research and Sponsored Programs

Research and Sponsored Programs facilitates faculty, staff, students, and the community in their instructional, creative, research, and public service efforts. This support includes technical assistance, oversight of sponsored programs, guidance, and assurance of institutional regulatory compliance.

University Assessment Office

The University Assessment Office is responsible for conducting a variety of assessment activities related to student learning outcomes using qualitative and quantitative research techniques, providing support services to other units engaged in such assessment, and sharing best practices for and results of assessment activities.
